Trailermania…

I love movies, especially animated ones and though I never had the chance to work at least on a short one, I did some animated sequences for games like Painkiller: Resurrection, Anderson 2: The Rise of R'lyeh or Fantasy Dynasty. Only the first title was released 2009, but for the others I also created artworks, storyboards and even (co-wrote) the texts. I just thought I could show them here, so have fun...

Fantasy Dynasty should have been a very complex strategy-game within a classic fantasy setting. I worked almost for a year on it, but even inspite of a kickstarter-campaign it was never released. This video represents the intro. It was fun exploring a very different style of art...

Anderson 2: The Rise of R'lyeh would have been a sequel to Robert D. Anderson & The Legacy of Cthulhu (which had even film scenes with real actors). For this I created probably my most famous and still one of my best artworks (the one right at the beginning obviously)...

For Painkiller: Resurrection I created all the cutscenes in a graphic novel-style, very much like the Max Payne-games. The release was 2009. I also co-wrote the texts in English. In retrospective the texts and the overall story may be a little... well... they could be better...^^
